| Obverse description | Vertically oriented coupon printed in brown on a cream ground, with a fine lace-style guilloche border enclosing the entire face. A blue floral underprint vignette occupies the upper centre, over which the denomination characters 粗糧 and 伍市斤 are printed in bold brown letterpress.
