| Obverse description | Irregular oval hammered silver flan bearing the Shi'a kalima in bold Arabic nasta'liq script arranged in two registers separated by a horizontal line. The upper register contains the shahada — 'There is no god but Allah, Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah, Ali is the Friend of Allah' — while the lower register enumerates the names of the Twelve Imams. The legends are struck in high relief against a flat, undecorated field, consistent with standard Safavid hammered coinage practice. |

| Reverse description | Irregular oval hammered silver flan with Arabic nasta'liq legends arranged in three lines across the field. The upper line bears the royal title and dedication reading 'Servant of the Shah of Wilaya, Husayn'; the central line gives the mint name 'Zarb Yerevan' (struck at Yerevan); and the lower line records the AH regnal date 1129. The bold, deeply incuse lettering is characteristic of late Safavid provincial mint production. |
