| Obverse description | Left-facing uniformed bust of King Ananda Mahidol (Rama VIII) in military dress uniform, with epaulettes and decorations visible at the truncation. The effigy is rendered in high relief with fine detail to the facial features and hair. Thai inscriptions flank the portrait on both sides of the field, identifying the monarch by name and reign number. A beaded border runs along the coin's periphery. |
