Obverse description	The obverse features a boldly rendered lion's head in right profile, occupying nearly the entire field in a dynamic, stylized composition. The mane is depicted with sweeping, deeply engraved parallel lines radiating outward, conveying a sense of power and movement. The lion's mouth is open, with whiskers finely detailed in relief. A Ge'ez script legend appears above the lion's head along the upper rim, with the date inscription in Ge'ez numerals positioned at the lower field. The overall design is the work of engraver Stuart Devlin, executed in a vigorous, sculptural style characteristic of his numismatic work.
