| Obverse description | Central field features the Lion Capital of Ashoka, the national emblem of India, depicted in three-quarter view with three lions visible atop an abacus bearing the Dharma Chakra flanked by a bull and a horse in relief. Directly below the capital appears the Devanagari legend SATYAMEVA JAYATE (Truth alone triumphs), the national motto.
