| Obverse description | Portrait of King George VI in uniform with crown, positioned to the right within a guilloche border frame. The central text panel carries the promise-to-pay inscription with an overprint reading BURMA CURRENCY BOARD and LEGAL TENDER IN BURMA ONLY applied across the face of this Reserve Bank of India note.
