| Obverse description | Central field features a traditional Nepalese cruciform panel design enclosed within an ornate cartouche, displaying the royal name of King Birendra Bir Bikram Shah Dev in Devanagari script distributed across the four quadrants, with the honorific 'Shri Shri' inscribed at the top. A small floral or wheel motif appears at the center of the cross. The Bikram Sambat regnal date 2047 is inscribed in the lower portion of the design.
