Obverse description Central field dominated by the royal toughra of Amir Abdur Rahman Khan, rendered in ornate Arabic calligraphy, enclosing the regnal date within a crescent-shaped cartouche. A five-pointed star is positioned at the top of the design, directly above the toughra. The entire central device is flanked by two symmetrical olive or laurel branches forming a wreath that rises from a tied base at the bottom of the field.
