| Obverse description | A classical female bust vignette is centred at upper portion of the note, set against a fine guilloche background. The large denomination numeral 5 appears at left and right, with the Cyrillic legend РУБЛЕЙ below and Arabic script numerals flanking the central text panel. A cartouche at centre carries the authorisation text in Cyrillic, with serial number БД 6493 printed at left and right, and manuscript signatures of the Upravlyayushchy and Kassir at lower left and lower right respectively. |
