| Obverse description | Within a central beaded circle, the denomination '5 РУБЛЕЙ' is inscribed in two lines, flanked to the left by a wheat ear and to the right by an oak branch. Below the denomination, two horizontal lines frame the Leningrad Mint monogram (ЛМД), beneath which appears the date '1992' in the exergue. Semicircular legends along the upper and lower rim are separated by two ornamental fragments: 'ҚАЗАҚСТАН' (Kazakhstan, in Kazakh transcription) arches across the top, while 'БАНК РОССИИ' (Bank of Russia) curves along the bottom. |
