Reverse description The reverse depicts the Central Asian equestrian game of Isindi (also known as 'kyz-kuu'), showing two riders on horseback facing one another in the central field: the left rider raises one arm aloft while brandishing a long whip or rod, while the right rider gestures defensively. The Moscow 1980 Olympic emblem — the stylised tower with a five-pointed star above the Olympic rings — appears at the bottom centre, flanked by decorative scroll-work. The mintmark 'ЛМ' appears at lower left. The curved legend 'ИГРЫ XXII ОЛИМПИАДЫ · МОСКВА · 1980' arcs along the upper periphery, and the date '1980' is inscribed in the exergue below the decorative border.
