Reverse description The denomination 5 РУБЛЕЙ (5 Roubles) is displayed prominently in two lines at the centre of the field, with the numeral 5 flanked by two small six-pointed star ornaments above. Below the denomination, an ornamental foliate divider separates the value from the date 1858, beneath which the mint mark С.П.Б. (St. Petersburg) appears. The entire central device is enclosed within a beaded inner circle, outside of which a Cyrillic legend in capital letters encircles the coin, specifying the gold content. The reverse is finished with a toothed milled rim.
