| Obverse description | The Reichsadler (Imperial Eagle) is depicted facing left with wings spread wide, rendered in high relief with finely detailed feathering across the breast and wings. The eagle stands with talons displayed and head turned to the left, occupying virtually the entire field. The circular legend DEUTSCHES REICH arcs across the upper portion of the coin, while the denomination 5 REICHSMARK curves along the lower field. The mint mark 'A' for Berlin appears beneath the eagle's body, between the talons. The design is enclosed by a beaded border. |
