Obverse description A stylized imperial eagle displayed in the center of the field, wings spread, head turned to the right, rendered in a bold Art Deco style characteristic of the early Third Reich period. The legend DEUTSCHES REICH arcs above the eagle along the upper rim, while the denomination 5 REICHSMARK is inscribed below, separated from the eagle by a pair of flanking oak sprigs. The design is presented in high relief against a flat, polished field.
