| Obverse description | Right-facing effigy of Libertas, the Roman goddess of Liberty, rendered as a classical female bust with elaborately braided hair gathered and tied with a ribbon, and crowned with a tiara. The legend CONFOEDERATIO HELVETICA arcs around the upper periphery, while the date 1918 and the inscription LIBERTAS appear in the lower field, flanked by decorative cross pattée stops. The portrait is executed in a neoclassical style consistent with the Helvetia coinage series. |
