| Reverse description | Central field bears three lines of Arabic inscription reading 'Struck in Egypt' (ضرب في مصر) with the regnal year number above and the AH date ١٣٢٧ (1327) below, all enclosed within an elegant wreath of laurel and floral branches tied at the base with a ribbon bow. Two six-pointed stars are positioned at the top of the wreath above the inscriptions. The overall composition is symmetrical and characteristic of late Ottoman provincial coinage produced at the Heaton Mint. |
