| Obverse description | Central field dominated by the elaborate Ottoman-style toughra of Abdullah ibn Muhammad, rendered in flowing calligraphic script with decorative foliate scrollwork and a branching vegetal motif rising from the upper right. The Arabic numeral '٥' (5), denoting the denomination in qirsh, appears prominently in the lower field beneath the toughra. The entire design is contained within a toothed or reeded border running along the coin's rim. |
