Reverse description The Burmese numeral 5 appears at the top of the field, above the denomination inscription in Burmese script at centre. An ornate wreath of curling floral and foliate sprays, executed in a traditional Burmese decorative style, encircles the central denomination on both sides. The Gregorian year 1966, rendered in Burmese numerals, is inscribed in the lower exergue below the floral wreath. The scalloped border frames the entire reverse design.
