Reverse description The centre of the reverse is occupied by a large intaglio vignette of the Royal Arms of the United Kingdom, supported by a crowned lion on the left and a unicorn on the right, with the motto scroll 'DIEU ET MON DROIT' below and 'HONI SOIT MAL' visible on the garter. The central shield is flanked by symmetrical guilloche panels, each incorporating the denomination numeral '5' and the word 'FIVE' in ornate letterpress. The bank name and denomination appear in bold lettering at the top and bottom of the design.
