Reverse description The reverse, designed by Glyn Davies, features a bold, high-relief depiction of St Edward's Crown — one of the principal Crown Jewels housed in the Tower of London — rendered in fine detail with pearl-studded arches, a monde, and an orb-and-cross finial. Behind the crown, the stone walls and archway of the Tower of London are engraved in lower relief, conveying architectural depth. A small Tower of London privy mark appears in the lower left field. The legend TOWER OF LONDON is inscribed along the right periphery, with the engraver's initials GD appearing at the lower left near the base of the design.
