Reverse description A finely detailed architectural elevation of the Royal Albert Hall occupies the central field, depicting the building's distinctive elliptical form with its ornate terracotta frieze, arched colonnades, and the iconic glazed iron and glass dome rising prominently above. The principal entrance portico, surmounted by a flagpole bearing a pennant, is rendered in precise relief at lower centre. The inscription ROYAL · ALBERT · HALL curves around the upper legend, while the commemorative dates 1871 · 2021, marking the hall's 150th anniversary, appear in the exergue below. The engraver's initials AD for Anne Desmet are discreetly placed to the lower right of the design.
