Obverse description The fourth definitive effigy of Queen Elizabeth II, modelled by Ian Rank-Broadley, depicted as a right-facing draped bust wearing the Girls of Great Britain and Ireland tiara and a drop earring, with a necklace visible at the truncation. The legend ELIZABETH II arcs along the left periphery and ALDERNEY along the right periphery, both in raised Latin capitals. The date 2005 appears in the lower exergue. The initials IRB are incuse at the base of the truncation.
