Reverse description A three-quarter front view of the classic original Mini automobile occupies the centre of the field, rendered in fine relief and presented on a stylised cobblestone or chequerboard platform that recedes toward the lower field. The commemorative legend 50th Anniversary of the first Mini arcs around the upper portion of the field, while the brand name MINI appears in bold relief at the bottom of the design. The composition, engraved by David Cornell, celebrates the 50th anniversary of the iconic British Motor Corporation vehicle first introduced in 1959.
