| Obverse description | Right-facing crowned effigy of Queen Elizabeth II, wearing the George IV State Diadem adorned with floral motifs, along with drop earrings and a necklace. The portrait, executed in high relief on a mirror-polished proof field, is attributed to the Raphael Maklouf effigy used on Commonwealth coinage from 1985.
