Obverse description Fourth definitive effigy of Queen Elizabeth II facing right, depicting a crowned and draped bust wearing the Girls of Great Britain and Ireland Tiara, as sculpted by Ian Rank-Broadley. The peripheral legend reads ELIZABETH II BAILIWICK OF JERSEY, with the date 2007 and the engraver's initials IRB appearing below the truncation. The portrait is rendered in high relief against a flat field in the refined style characteristic of Rank-Broadley's Royal Mint commissions.

Additional information

Issued a decade after Diana's death in the Paris underpass crash of August 1997, this Jersey crown-sized commemorative falls into a heavily crowded field — the Royal Mint and numerous Commonwealth territories flooded the market with Diana memorial pieces throughout the late 1990s and 2000s. Jersey's 2007 contribution arrived ten years on, timed to the anniversary rather than the immediate grief wave that drove earlier issues.

Collector demand for this specific type has remained modest. The commemorative silver crown format was by then so thoroughly saturated with Diana-themed issues that individual pieces struggle to distinguish themselves on the secondary market.
