Charles turned 70 in November 2018, and Guernsey — along with several other Crown Dependencies — issued commemorative crowns to mark the occasion. These pieces carry no particular monetary function; Guernsey's nominal face values on crown-sized issues have been largely symbolic since decimalisation in 1971.
