| Reverse description | Central design featuring a highly detailed depiction of St. Edward's Crown, surmounted by a cross pattée and adorned with pearled arches and elaborate ornamental goldwork, rendered in high relief against a mirror-polished field. To the upper right of the crown, a Tudor rose in full bloom is depicted in relief. To the right of the crown, a selectively gold-plated circular cartouche bears the royal cypher EIIR in interlaced monogram form. The arc legend 65TH CORONATION ANNIVERSARY curves along the upper portion of the field, while the denomination FIVE POUNDS is inscribed along the lower border. |

| Additional information |
Jersey has issued commemorative five-pound pieces with some regularity, but the 65th coronation anniversary sits at an unusual interval — not a round number, not a jubilee, simply the year Elizabeth II surpassed Queen Victoria's reign length in September 2015, a milestone the Royal Mint and associated issuers milked across several subsequent years of releases. The selective gold plating technique applied here was widely adopted by the Royal Mint and its licensees during this period to add perceived premium value to .925 flans that were otherwise identical to dozens of concurrent issues.
