Reverse description A powerful ox rendered in high sculptural relief is depicted grazing in a pastoral landscape, its head lowered toward the ground. Flowering spring plants and snowdrops fill the lower field, while a blossoming tree with delicate foliage rises to the left and a leafy tree occupies the right background, evoking a seasonal countryside setting. The Chinese character 牛 (Ox) is prominently placed in the upper central field, flanked by the curved inscription 'YEAR OF THE OX' to the left and the date '2021' to the right, both arching along the upper rim. The engraver's initials 'HB' for Harry Brockway appear discreetly in the lower right field.
