Reverse description The Black Bull of Clarence depicted passant, shown as a heraldic supporter bearing a shield charged with the quartered royal arms as used by Edward IV and Richard III, and subsequently by the sovereigns of the Houses of Lancaster and Tudor. The bull is rendered in bold relief against a plain field, with a decorative legend disposed around the periphery. The date and series title appear as part of the surrounding inscription. The design forms part of the Royal Mint's Queen's Beasts series.
