Reverse description A centrally placed coloured Remembrance poppy, rendered in vivid red with a dark green-black centre, occupies the central field of the reverse. Surrounding the poppy, the renowned Ode of Remembrance verse — excerpted from Laurence Binyon's poem 'For the Fallen' — is inscribed in a continuous inward spiral legend that winds from the outer border toward the centre. The denomination £5 appears in the upper left field, set within a small rectangular cartouche. The overall design is austere and deeply reverential, with the spiral text arrangement creating a visually striking commemorative effect on the polished silver-plated surface.
