The portrait is depicted with finely detailed hair swept upward beneath the jewelled crown, in the style used for Alderney coinage of this period. The circular legend surrounding the effigy reads ELIZABETH II DEI GRA REGINA ALDERNEY C.I., with the date 2019 appearing in the lower exergue. The rim is bordered by a continuous beaded inner circle.

Additional information

Alderney's status as a Crown Dependency allows the Bailiwick to issue its own commemorative coinage under Royal Mint production, a quirk that has made it a vehicle for high-volume collector issues since the 1990s. This particular piece is one of dozens of Remembrance-themed coins produced across British territories in recent decades — a market-driven category that has expanded considerably since the centenary commemorations of the First World War.

The KM#305a designation indicates the silver variant of a base-metal issue, the standard structure for this type of release.
