| Reverse description | The full Royal Coat of Arms of the United Kingdom is rendered in high relief at the centre of the field, engraved by Timothy Noad. The quartered shield displays the three golden lions of England (first and fourth quarters), the lion rampant of Scotland (second quarter), and the harp of Ireland (third quarter), supported to the dexter by the crowned lion of England and to the sinister by the chained unicorn of Scotland. Above the shield rises the royal helm surmounted by the imperial crown and a statant guardant lion as crest, flanked by elaborate mantling. The Garter motto HONI SOIT QUI MAL Y PENSE encircles the shield, while the motto DIEU ET MON DROIT appears on a ribbon scroll beneath the supporters amid a bed of Tudor roses, thistles, and shamrocks. The date 2025 is inscribed in the lower field below the composition, with the engraver's initials TN visible in the lower right. |
