| Reverse description | The reverse features a dual portrait composition by Emma Eleanor depicting Queen Victoria at two stages of her life: in the foreground to the left, the young Victoria is shown as a bare-shouldered, diademed bust with elaborately dressed hair and floral ornamental sprays, evoking her early reign; behind and to the right, the elder Victoria appears in full regalia, wearing the Imperial State Crown, a widow's veil, the collar of a royal order, and a heavily jewelled bodice adorned with decorations including a cross badge, conveying her later role as Empress.
