| Reverse description | A highly detailed rendering of the Imperial State Crown dominates the central field, depicted in exceptional relief with clearly delineated arches, jewels, ermine bands, and the orb and cross at the summit. The crown is presented frontally and occupies the majority of the reverse face. The curved legend 'KING CHARLES III CORONATION' arcs across the upper field, while the denomination 'FIVE POUNDS' is inscribed along the lower periphery, separated from the legend by decorative dot stops. The design, by Quentin Peacock and Timothy Noad, celebrates the coronation of King Charles III on 6 May 2023. |
