| Reverse description | A large, centrally placed rendition of the Imperial State Crown, depicted in full relief and selectively gold-plated, dominates the reverse field. The crown is shown with its characteristic arches, orb and cross pattée at the summit, and its lower band adorned with jewels, all richly highlighted by the applied gold plating against the polished silver field. The arc legend KING CHARLES III CORONATION curves around the upper periphery, while the denomination FIVE POUNDS appears in the lower exergual area. The design, by Quentin Peacock and Timothy Noad, commemorates the coronation of King Charles III in 2023. |
