| Obverse description | Central design features a stylized athletic torch with a flame rising from its crown, flanked by a floral or foliate emblem in the lower field. The Arabic legend arcs along the upper periphery reading the event name and host city, while the denomination in Arabic numerals and the date '١٩٩١' (1991) appear in the lower field. The inscription 'جمهورية مصر العربية' (Arab Republic of Egypt) is rendered in two lines beneath the torch. The entire design is framed by a beaded inner border with a segmented outer border, typical of Egyptian commemorative coinage of this period. |
