Obverse description	The obverse is printed in dark blue and violet on a light ground, with an intaglio vignette of Queen Nefertiti in right profile occupying the right portion of the note. A large oval guilloche underprint in blue dominates the centre-left field, flanked by intricate rosette ornaments. Arabic inscriptions appear in the upper register identifying the issuing authority, with the denomination in Arabic script at centre and a signature line with ministerial title at lower left.

Reverse description	The reverse is printed in dark blue and violet with a large central guilloche medallion incorporating the numeral '5' in white reserve, surrounded by elaborate lathe-work borders. An oval blank panel appears at right, mirroring the obverse layout. English inscriptions arc around the lower border, with the issuing authority name in Arabic at the top and bilingual denomination and legal references at centre.
