| Obverse description | A beaded inner circle frames the prominent interlaced company monogram 'DM' in the central field, rendered in bold raised relief. A pearl border runs along the inner edge of the circular legend, which reads 'DEUTSCHE MOLYBDAEN.-W. G.m.b.H.' across the upper arc and 'TEUTSCHENTHAL' along the lower arc, separated by small star devices. The overall design is plain and utilitarian, consistent with the emergency coinage (Notgeld) aesthetic of the early Weimar period. |
