Obverse description Within a continuous pearl border, the heraldic griffin of Stettin — depicted as a crowned griffin's head facing left — occupies the central field. The city name legend 'STADT STETTIN' arcs across the upper portion of the coin interior, while the date '1920' appears in the lower segment, both rendered in a decorative serif script. The scalloped flan edge itself forms an additional decorative frame around the entire composition.
