| Obverse description | A continuous pearl border frames the obverse. The curved legend MARKTGEMEINDE arcs across the upper field, flanked by a small five-pointed star at its centre base. The municipality name PFÖRRING is boldly inscribed in large raised letters across the centre of the field. The date 1917 appears in the lower portion, with a small five-pointed star to each side. The overall design is plain and typographic, consistent with wartime Notgeld production. |
