Reverse description A beaded outer border encircles the entire design, with a raised inner ring separating the peripheral legend from the central motif. Within the inner circle, a large, spreading oak tree — the historic thousand-year-old Vehmic oak (Vehm-Eiche) of Erle — is depicted in high relief, its broad canopy filling the field above a suggestion of ground. The circumferential legend reads '1000 JÄHRIGE VEHM-EICHE' across the upper arc and 'ZU ERLE' along the lower arc, flanked by star ornaments.
