Reverse description The reverse features a large, bold numeral '5' at the center of a plain field, enclosed within a raised beaded inner circle. The circular legend 'KLEINGELDERSATZMARKE' (small change substitute token) runs along the upper arc between the beaded border and the outer dotted rim border. Three small six-pointed stars appear at the base of the design, evenly spaced below the inner bead circle. The design is stark and functional, consistent with the utilitarian character of World War I German notgeld emergency coinage.
