| Obverse description | A plain field entirely occupied by a multi-line Latin legend arranged in horizontal registers across the coin's face, reading UNTER GEWÄHR DER KREISE BONN-STADT BONN-LAND UND DES SIEGKREISES 1917, attesting the guarantee of the three issuing districts. The date 1917 appears at the base of the inscription, flanked by small decorative stars. The entire design is enclosed within a fine beaded (pearl) border running along the inner rim. |
