Reverse description The central field bears a large, boldly struck numeral '5' denoting the denomination, occupying most of the available space within the inner circle. Surrounding the numeral, a circular legend in raised Latin characters reads KLEINGELDERSATZMARKE, meaning 'small change substitute token', with a single five-pointed star serving as a separator at the base. The rim is defined by a continuous beaded border consistent with the obverse, giving the token a uniform and functional appearance typical of World War I German Notgeld issues.
