| Obverse description | The obverse is dominated by large ornate blackletter (Fraktur) script reading "Gutschein" at the top and "Ballenstedt" along the lower margin, with the denomination numeral "5" in a bold circular cartouche at centre. To the left of the cartouche, text states the voucher's validity expires three months after public notice, while the date "28.
