| Obverse description | Olive-green letterpress notgeld coupon enclosed within a geometric border of interlocking diamond and scroll ornaments. The denomination "Fünf Pfennige" is set in large Gothic blackletter type across the upper field, with the numeral "5" and the word "Pfennige" below in a lighter underprint panel; the city arms of Adorf appear as a blind-embossed vignette at the lower left.
