| Obverse description | The Cuban national coat of arms occupies the central field, depicting a shield divided into three sections: the upper portion shows a golden key between two rocky promontories and a rising sun, the lower-left features blue and white diagonal stripes representing the sea, and the lower-right bears a royal palm tree.
