Obverse description Black letterpress impression on a brown underprint composed of repetitive 'Cinco Pesos' and '$5.00' text across the entire field. The heading 'TESORERIA GENERAL DEL ESTADO' is set in large bold type at the top, with the bearer clause and denomination 'CINCO PESOS' centred and flanked by numeral 5 counters; the date 'CHIHUAHUA, 10 DE DICIEMBRE DE 1913' appears below, followed by the printed designation 'Gobernador Provisional del Estado, Gral. Francisco Villa' above two manuscript signatures. Red serial numbers and 'Serie B' designation are placed at the upper left and right.
