| Obverse description | Printed in black letterpress on light paper, the obverse carries a fine guilloche underprint across the centre field, with large shaded numeral 5 vignettes at all four corners flanking the bold central legend FIVE PESOS. The seal of the City of Bacolod appears at lower right, accompanied by three manuscript signatures of the Provincial Fiscal Member, the Acting Manager of the P.N.B. Bacolod Branch as Chairman, and the Acting Provincial Auditor Member. A printed serial number completes the face of this emergency wartime circulating note. |
