| Obverse description | The obverse carries the bold central inscription CINCO PESOS NACIONALES beneath the bank's title EL BANCO PROVINCIAL DE CÓRDOBA in an arched legend, with a crowned coat of arms vignette at centre top flanked by ornamental wing scrollwork. A classical seated female allegorical figure appears at lower left, with a portrait vignette of a woman at lower right, the whole set against a fine guilloche underprint. The note bears a manuscript date of Marzo 27 de 1873 at upper left, a series designation at right, and two handwritten signatures with printed role designations Tesorero and Presidente below. |
